As I had posted on my Facebook page the other day, I’m not all about promoting or calling attention to donating towards my Lyme disease treatment (and efforts to spread awareness about tick-borne illnesses- just the donation part!) Fight Lyme is about sharing my person experiences and giving those an inside look into my life; what it’s like to live with Lyme disease; but most of all, to help prevent any single individual from living a “Lyme Lyfe”
However, I’m down to the final hours of my campaign.
The campaign ends TONIGHT at 11:59pm (PT) and I’ve reached 70% of my goal! In these last final hours, please spread the word to anyone you might know- and especially about the Free Lyme Disease film screening of the movie, “Under Our Skin” which will take place, Sunday, May 26 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Norwood Fire Dept.
I’d like to take the time and thank those who have donated to my campaign on Indiegogo:
Thank you to The Whiteman Family for your generous donations and helping me spread awareness about Lyme disease within the community! I’d like to also take this time and thank all of those who have donated to my campaign- Andrew Bauer, Claudia Yoo, John Schettino & The Schettino Family, John McKenna, Kris Ferrara, Stacy Vitale, Gabby Garcia, Samantha Sharkey, Kyle Vorchheimer, Tracy Engel and all the Anonymous donors!! Also thank you to the NFD for all the support and generous donations, making fundraising events possible! It’s amazing to look back to where I started and how far I’ve come- I know I could not have done it without you all!
Also please save the date- Saturday, September 7, 2013– there will be a dinner, raffle, auction and more at the Colonial Inn, 6:00pm-10:00pm, sponsored by the Norwood Fire Dept! More info will be posted here at a later date!
Thank you all again so, so much! Your kind words and generosity has truly uplifted my spirits and has been great medicine!
